old world ambience, charming antique details, quiet street

Rooms lacked proper sound insulation, leading to disruptive noises!!! The shower was underwhelmingly tiny, making it hard to navigate!!! Parking options restricted to vehicles under 6 ft 5 in!!! A bit more maintenance wouldn't hurt!!!

    charming decor
    excellent breakfast
    small bathroom

The location near the Citadel and park made exploring Quebec City super easy. Breakfast each morning included homemade pancakes and an excellent variety of options like fruit and pastries, reminding me of my travels in Europe. The cozy room featured charming antique decor that added to the overall ambience. However, the steep stairs might pose issues for anyone with mobility problems. The bathroom was quite small, which was a bit uncomfortable. Also, there was no sign about the check-in checkout policy, which was confusing. Despite these minor inconveniences, I found my stay enjoyable, thanks to the hospitable owner who was always ready to help.

Staying with friends at this lovely spot was a highlight. We loved the hot breakfasts every morning, especially the omelets, and great location made walking to attractions a breeze. Plus, the host was super friendly and accommodating. We explored the Citadel and enjoyed time at the Montmorency Falls, making it a perfect group getaway.

However, we faced some challenges with the steep stairs, especially when carrying luggage. It could be tough for anyone with mobility issues.

I absolutely loved the spacious and clean room, where I enjoyed some lovely homemade omelets for breakfast each morning! For relaxation, the coffee was available any time and the quaint sitting area was perfect for unwinding. The steep staircase could be a dealbreaker for some, but I found it charming and part of the experience—just make sure you pack light! ☕

    Cozy ambiance and amazing breakfasts!

We had such a lovely time, with our room being cozy and clean. It's just a short walk to so many attractions. Each morning, we indulged in scrumptious breakfasts made by the owner, which really set the tone for our day exploring. The location is perfect, tucked away from the bustle but still close enough to enjoy the sights. Just a heads up, the stairs are quite steep, so pack light if you can!
